wind shelter / gothenburg

Glass carrying 3,5 ton concrete, inverting the traditional structural hierarchy. Due to the glass panels angled positions, no other structural elements are required.

The pavilion has a permanent position on one of Gothenburg’s disused pier in Eriksberg. Through the transparency of the glass, you get 180° view independently of wind direction.

Location: Kvarnpiren, Eriksberg – Gothenburg, Sweden.

Collaboration with Daniel Elis Karlsson
